Aerospace Bristol is an Air and Space museum that features galleries and interactive exhibitions on the history of aerospace. The Aerospace galleries date back 100 years to the early 1900s and will take you through key moments during history such as both world wars, the space race, and latest technological advancements in the aerospace industry.
One of the main exhibitions is The Concorde Hanger where you can step onto one of the last iconic supersonic passenger jets, The Concorde Alpha Foxtrot. This exhibition features a projector show that displays three short films detailing its history, flight deck, and pilots uniform. This jet was capable of reaching an altitude of 60,000ft and travelling at twice the speed of sound.
Some other exhibitions include a Conservation workshop where visitors can view aircrafts such as the Bristol Bolingbroke 9048, and a Rolls-Royce Aerospace collection that showcases over 30 Rolls-Royce engines.
Aerospace Bristol is typically open everyday from 10am until 4.30pm with ticket prices varying.
