The All England Lawn Tennis Club was formed in 1868 (as the All England Croquet Club). Every year, it hosts the massive tennis tournament known as Wimbledon for two weeks on their grounds on Church Road. As well as the yearly summer tournament, the grounds boast multiple bars and four restaurants (Centenary Brasserie, Centenary Restaurant, Cavendish Restaurant and Cafe and The Wingfield Restaurant, all of which must be booked in advance). There is also a museum chronicling the history of the Wimbledon tournament and opportunities to tour the grounds. They also offer a variety of learning programs. In addition, there is an online shop where you can purchase clothing, accessories, home gifts and the iconic towels.
