The accessibility of Barker’s café
The outdoor seated area is near cobbled flooring however the area itself is pretty flat. There is enough space to move chairs and make way for a wheelchair to go right up to the outdoor tables. The café is small inside and so may not be suitable inside for a person using a wheelchair. Those pushing a pram may find it difficult to manoeuvre also. They have a large vegan menu. Guide dogs like pet dogs are very welcome. Whilst the staff do not have any training in neurologically diverse people why are happy to help whenever possible. They are happy to help tt he best of their ability. There are no braille or large print menus. The staff are happy to explain what is available to choose from.
