The Coronation Street Experience takes you behind the scenes of one of the nation’s most iconic soap operas. One of their expert tour guides will take you to tour the set while telling you some exclusive information about the soap. It gives you the experience of visiting the iconic street to see it up close. In addition, the experience offers an exhibition filled with props, costumes and interior sets. There is also a place to eat and drink and a gift shop. You can also choose a Star Tour. This combines the tour and exhibition with a meet-and-greet with one of the soap’s stars!

Because it’s on a working set, there might be some uneven paths, slopes and kerbs that might not be accessible for everyone to access. Hearing impaired guests can have a printed script; ask your tour guide to give you one at the beginning of the tour.
Wheelchair users are able to come on the tour but they have to have the ability to travel throughout the length of the tour. It’s important that people using a manual wheelchair need to bring an assistant, and due to health and safety reasons they are limited to one per timeslot..
They don’t have car parking available on their site, but there are car parks near the MediaCityUK complex. All assistance dogs are welcome on the tour, but you have to contact the team beforehand. Both accessible and normal toilets are available in the visitor centre and a lift is available. Bottles of water are offered at the tour.
