Dobbies is a garden centre chain with stores across the nation. The Carlisle shop sells a selection of indoor and outdoor plants. As well as hundreds of plants, Dobbies also stock garden tools and equipment, decorative pots, and garden furniture. Similarly, they have a homeware section offering household essentials and kitchen equipment. Furthermore, they have partnered with a few local businesses who can help customers build sheds and conservatories and offer supplies for ponds/fish tanks.
Furthermore, Dobbies has a small shop that stocks many basic foodstuffs. If you would like to dine in, they have a large café selling a range of hot and cold food and drinks, from light lunches to full meals. They also serve a range of scones and cakes with a large variety of coffees and teas. You can eat in or outside, and they also have a soft play (for which pre-booking is advised) and an outdoor play area for children to enjoy!
