Foxes Café Lounge

Foxes Café Lounge is a small café in the heart of Carlisle, located a moment’s walk from Carlisle Cathedral and Tullie Museum and Art Gallery. They serve a range of food, from breakfasts like pancake stacks and fry-ups to lunches ranging from toasties, sandwiches and delicious salads. They also offer larger meals like burgers and an ever-changing selection of specials. For drinks, Foxes serve award-winning coffee made by Bruce and Luke’s Coffee (founded by the owners of Foxes, supplying over 150 businesses across Cumbria) and milkshakes and smoothies in a variety of flavours. As well as dining in the café, Foxes also offer some takeout options for customers on the go.

Accessibility

Foxes Café Lounge is small with limited seating. Around half their seating is up a few steps in the back of the café. They do offer some limited outdoor seating on the pavement, which accomodates customers with dogs. Only assistance dogs are welcome inside the café. Staff are able to accommodate customers however they can.

Located in Carlisle’s historic quarter, it is a short walk from other sights. There is very limited street parking in the area, however it is a short walk from The Lanes Shopping Centre multi-story car park and multiple bus stops outside Carlisle Market on West Tower Street.
