Wrong information
“At both high and low tide, there is still plenty of beach to explore and let off some steam” Is incorrect from the car park the beech is not accessible at high tide
Situated on the Yorkshire Coast, Fraisthorpe Beach is a large sandy beach which is surrounded by low clay cliffs.
Across the two World Wars, numerous pillboxes were built along Fraisthorpe Beach as part of anti-invasion measures. Today you can still explore these structures, with the largest surviving ones lying at the beach entrance. These structures make for photo-ops and hands-on learning for little explorers!
Fraisthorpe’s vast beach makes it ideal for scenic walks and kite-flying. You may even spot horses riding along the flat sands! At both high and low tide, there is still plenty of beach to explore and let off some steam. Why not pack some buckets and spades and try to build the largest sandcastle you can?
If you fancy getting wet, the  waters are shallow enough for a paddle. Fraisthorpe is also very popular for wind-surfing, thanks to these waters and frequent winds. The beach is quite windy because of the low sand dunes.
You can reach the beach from the adjacent car park via a level path. Furthermore, nearby facilities are also easily accessible. Fraisthorpe Beach is suitable for dogs.

Nearby there are accessible toilets and a dog friendly café called the Cow Shed Café, where you can enjoy cakes and tea as well as other hot and cold handmade foods while looking out over the North Sea. Further along the beach, you will find Wilsthorpe Beach.
You can park your car at the nearby Fraisthorpe Beach top car park (YO15 3QU). It is open 7 days a week, though you need to pay for parking. Remember to check the car park times as they change between Winter and Summer.
Dogs are allowed on most of Fraisthorpe Beach throughout the year. However, some sections do not permit dogs so you should keep an eye out for any signage. There are only 2 dog waste bins along the beach, so remember to bring bags to collect your dog litter.
Yes, you can rod fish at Fraisthorpe Beach. However, you need a rod-fishing license to do so.
There are public toilets available at the nearby car park and the Cow Shed Café. You can find many further toilets in Bridlington.
