Go Ape Matfen is a family fun outdoor activity, that is located in Newcastle upon Tyne. It is built in the grounds of  the country house hotel  with beautiful views.

Outdoor activities 

• Treetop challenge- its suitable for age 10 and up
• Axe Throwing
• Golidath high ropes course
• As well as that, Go Ape Matfen has a café to get a bite to eat and drink, Gift shop, and picnic area.

Some events take part during the year, called team building days.

Accessibility  

Go Ape Matfen is also dog friendly if they are on a lead.

If someone has a visual impairment then you might need 2 other people to help you complete the activity, also if someone has hearing impairment then the safety briefs  can be used using visual aids, however if you are in large groups then it would be easier if you bring signers/ hearing companions.

if you travel by bus from Newcastle their is a 74 and 75 from Newcastle bus station and Marfen village every 2 hours.
