The theatre is situated in South-West Cornwall, on the Cornish cliffs amongst lush greenery. It was built by Rowena Cade with the purpose of entertaining people (having originally been set up for a performance of Shakespeare’s The Tempest), as well as to tell stories of the past. It was hand-made, dynamite being used to blast out the various terraces and seating areas.
At this theatre, you can pick from a rotating program of diverse live shows. In addition, there are workshops, courses, tours and other activities to take part in. Not to mention, schools can also take part with bookable group activities.
