Opened in 2015, the Old Fire Station has a strong reputation as a hub for live entertainment in the heart of Carlisle. Only a short distance from central transport links, the Old Fire Station has a fully stocked bar that can provide snacks as well as a cloakroom to store possessions during an event. The venue plays host to live music, tribute acts, comedians, and more.

Accessibility
The bar and main building are wheelchair accessible. There are accessible toilets on the ground and first floors of the building. There is also a lift to provide access to the upstairs.
The Old Fire Station is a short walk from the bus station and a slightly longer walk from Carlisle Train Station. There is also a car park opposite the venue.
