Pub and Kitchen

What is the Pub and Kitchen?

The pub and kitchen is a pub and restaurant based in Cassop. The building looks on the outside like an old barn conversion but with its spacious interior, cocktail bar and kitchen, it has that classic countryside look and feel that makes up for it. Though if the interior does not satisfy you, there is a beer garden out the back with a bar and picnic benches so you can enjoy the starters, mains and desserts while overlooking the countryside view whilst also having a drink.

You are able to book on the website or by ringing up the restaurant. They do an Asian themed promotion on Thursday night. The Pub and Kitchen has their own beer on tap and they also do speciality cocktails.

Accessibility

There is currently no car park so, you will have to park on the roadside or on the path outside of the pub.  There is highchairs available if needed for any babies or toddlers. You be able to enter with a wheelchair and there’s space in, and around the bar area for wheelchairs.

Since there is no proper car park, alternatively you could get the Durham to Hartlepool number 58 bus or the 57 bus from Durham to Kelloe.

The pub and kitchen is based at the address; Pub & Kitchen, Front Street North, Cassop, County Durham,DH6 4RJ.

Overall this would be a great place to relax after a long day in Durham or it could be a great place to start with if you want to explore the night life. But if you want more options  or something completely different, there is a lot more you can do in the local area.
