SpecialEffect was set up in 2007 to include people with disabilities in video gaming. They use technology such as modified controllers and eye-tracking to help them enjoy games of all kinds. Their projects include EyeMine (software which allows Minecraft to be played using eye movements). They also have a website with a wide variety of online games that are eye tracking enabled. In addition, they offer a DevKit for game developers to make their games more accessible. As well as their regular involvement in fundraising events, you can donate money yourself and even stream online for them.
There is a wheelchair accessible car park outside their office building, and the entrance is wheelchair accessible.Â
