This pub is based in Bishop Auckland and owned by Amber Taverns. It previously was Marks and Spencers and Poundworld before becoming a pub that opened in 2019.
You can watch live football matches, horse racing and live boxing matches on the likes of Sky Sports and TNT Sports in the pub. They have a karaoke room available for hire, with other regular events including disco, darts, dominos, DJ’s and live music.

This pub has double doors at the entrance, and there are no steps to get in. It has accessible toilets next to the other toilets. There is a terrace upstairs on top of the building; it’s got lots of seats and some are sheltered. The pub provides patio heaters when it is cold so you can stay warm. There is a flight of stairs to get to the terrace. The pub is not far from a bus stop, and the nearest accessible car park is Kingsway Opposite Wetherspoon’s. The pub does have Wi-Fi access, but it’s password protected; you can ask for the password.

No there is no food but it does serving snacks but you can get food in the Newgate Shopping Centre

The places is very welcome and all the staff are very helpful I like going in here for a social drink with my friends and also the drinks are reasonably cheap. The decor is of a high standard and also grand and also people like to go in there to watch football and listen to karaoke and singers.
