The London Dungeon
History
- The London Dungeon first opened in 1974.
- The experience was initially a free flow walkthrough attraction at Tooley Street.
- The attraction continued to undergo further developments and the Great Fire of London and Jack the Ripper shows were added in the 1980’s and 90’s.
- Eventually, the London Dungeon was re designed into an actor led live tour, rather than a free flowing walk through experience (More actor led shows were added in the 2000’s).
- In 2013, The London Dungeon finally moved to Southbank and is currently located at county hall.
