Awarded the Regional Pub of The Year award in 2009 and 2013, the Quakerhouse has also won the CAMRA Pub of The Year Award multiple times. The pub is dedicated to supplying its customers with a wide range of real ale. It also boasts the Mad Scientist microbrewery in the cellar.
The pub was originally built in the 18th century. The stone walls are covered in advertisements for the events they are holding, which includes live music. There are numerous stools to sit at and place your drink upon the sideboard. Snacks can also be purchased.
You can check out The Quakerhouse’s website for more information.

Whilst there are no braille or large print menus, they are able to tell you what options are available. They also carry your drinks to your chosen seat.
