Tweddle Children’s Animal Farm.  

Tweddle Children’s Animal Farm is a fun filled family day out situated in Hartlepool. It  has a wide variety of activities for all ages. The Farm was a livery yard before being transformed in 2003 and opened to the public in 2004.

There are lots of activities indoors and outdoors for all the family including:

• Feeding the animals
• Go karts
• Barrel rides
• Baby Barn
• Wallaby Walk
• Petting animals sessions
• Tractor ride
• Soft play
• Outdoor play area
• Gift shop

Many events take part at Tweddle Children’s Animal Farm over the course of the whole year such as a Giant egg hunt- in April. The onsite café has a selection of food and drinks on offer. Indoor and outdoor picnic areas are also available. The farm has baby changing and hand washing/sanitising facilities.

The farm has ramps around it making it accessible for wheelchairs. Do be aware that slopes are situated around the farm but nothing too steep.
